Dieter Feichtner Anthology Vol.1 The First Part of "Captain" Dieter Feichtners Anthology has been released over canto - crudo after two years work. The three Cd´s are full of synthesizer music of orchestral Quality. The Anthology is precious ly packed in a cardboard box. Dieter Feichtners journey into Sound is a journey into live itself.
Here an excerpt from the booklet (Text Günther Rabl): It was in that hot summer 1982, when i once again invited Dieter Feichtner to my house in the Waldviertel to make recordings for a planned solo album. At that time he still had his caravan, which he parked in a meadow between a shed and an old dilapadated skittle alley. (Consequently he also began hearing nightly skittle matches from days lomg past). Dieters Instruments where set up in a studio room in such a way, that he couldnt see the rotating tape recording reels from his place at the keyboards. Such things always irritated him very much. It was an experiment and an adventure in every aspect.
